Privacy Policy

About this policy. This document sets out how Birch Wealth Solutions BV safeguards your privacy. If all you want is a snapshot of how we handle your personal information, you can ask for our Condensed Privacy Information which sets out in summary how we collect, use and disclose your personal information, and how you can contact us if you want to access or correct your personal information. If you would like a more comprehensive explanation of how we handle your personal information, then this document will provide you with that detail. Privacy Policy Birch Wealth Solutions BV recognizes the importance of protecting your privacy. We are committed to ensuring the continued integrity and security of the personal information you entrust to us. We appreciate that the success of our business is largely dependent upon a relationship of trust being established and maintained with past, current and prospective customers, shareholders and other individuals with whom we conduct business. We will therefore continue to collect and manage your personal information with a high degree of diligence and care. Our aim is to comply at all times with the privacy laws that apply to us. If you have a comment, query or complaint regarding a privacy matter, we encourage you to discuss it with us. Collection We usually collect personal information directly from you. In order to optimally fulfill our services to you as a (potential) client, we collect, store and process data. These details include information about you as a person, your wishes and objectives, your financial position and your family and other relatives. These data are mostly confidential in nature. We therefore attach great importance to the protection of these data. In this document you can read how we do that. Which data do we collect? We collect all data necessary to: - assessing the extent to which our services can provide added value to potential clients; - to determine which parts of our service provision may be applicable to (potential) clients; - to optimally match the wishes of our clients during the service. Examples of data we collect are: name and address details, size and composition of assets, income and expenses, copies of identity documents, wills, tax returns, retirement provisions and other information that you and / or we consider important to include in our services. How do we collect data? Most of the information we collect is provided by us or is requested by us, with your permission, from your bank, notary, accountant, etcetera. In addition, we use public sources such as the trade register of the Chamber of Commerce and the Land Registry. To whom do we provide your data? We treat all personal information we have about you as confidential. This means that we only provide the information to others when this is necessary for our services, when we are obliged by law and regulations, or when you explicitly request us to do so. Data security We store all data we collect in electronic files on central servers. We have outsourced the management of this server and the software we use for this to a specialized company. We have concluded a 'processor agreement' with these companies, which, among other things, stipulate that they may not provide the information to third parties without explicit permission and to which requirements the security must comply. Our employees have access to the information that is relevant to their work. This access is controlled via secure connections. Inspection, correction and destruction If you wish, you can view your data that we have collected. If it appears that data is incorrect, you can have it corrected by us. You can also request that we destroy all or part of your data. You can submit a request for inspection, correction and / or cancellation by post, e-mail or telephone. The contact details can be found at the end of this document. We will only refuse such a request if we have a valid reason for this. This may be the case, for example, if the destruction of certain data endangers the services we have agreed with you or if we have a statutory duty to keep the data. Complaints If you do not agree with the way in which we deal with your data, and we do not come together, then you can address: Authority Personal Data PO Box 93374 NL-2509 AJ The Hague Change of privacy policy From time to time, it may be necessary for us to review our Privacy Policy and the information contained in this document.
